Aux contreforts de l'empire, on pêche, on drague, on passe le temps. Cigarettes après cigarettes, on refait le monde, on en réanime les ruines encore fumantes. Lorsqu'en face, il fait beau, on peut voir le Paradis perdu. Est-ce un mirage ?
On the ramparts of the kingdom, people fi sh, dredge, wile away the time. Cigarette after cigarette, they reinvent the world, and bring its smoking ruins back to life from exile. When the weather's fi ne across the waters, they can even see Paradise lost. Or is it just a mirage?
