A Shaded View on Fashion Film 2014

For its seventh edition ASVOFF (international fashion film Festival) proposes the best of the year's short films produced by fashion photographers, designers, artistic directors, stylists and creators from all backgrounds. Emerging talents rub shoulders with big names in fashion and the image. A jury of influential figures in the arts and media will vote for the best films. In addition to this selection, ASVOFF brings together prestigious guests in programmes connected with fashion, or intended to inspire it, together with talks and round tables. A carte blanche is given to a major figure in fashion photography, Steve Hiett; there will be a screening of the first medium-length film by the artist Adan Jodorowsky with Asia Argento, followed by a special concert, and a showing of Lea Rinaldi's film Traveling at Night with Jim Jarmusch, offering an intimate, unusual portrait of the director of Only Lovers Left Alive during filming. www.asvoff.com.
