Elmgreen & Dragset

Drama Queens is the brainchild of the visual artists Elmgreen and Dragset, based on a libretto by the British stage producer Tim Etchells, which features six archetypes of modernist sculpture confronting the illusions and disillusions of the Utopias which they heralded. A performance without actors in which the sculptures move and insult each other, a play full of humour with a deep message.
