Initiated in 2020, the "Supersonic" chair is a joint initiative from the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris and Ircam, in its educational context. How can a young composer "inhabit" a place that is not the concert hall? How does a visual artist use audio technology in their work?
Creative practices and digital tools often bring together visual and sound elements. This Supersonic Chair intends to share methods and know-how, to compose sound, visual and tangible space. A contemporary workshop to imagine a collective creation in situ, among students who also learn from each other.il ?
This show brings together works by: Carl Amiard, Karim Aouni, Sofia Avramidou, Oren Boneh, Inès Cherifi, Pierlouis Clavel, Didem Coskunseven, Héloïse Delcros, Sarah Konté, Meret Kraft, Thomas Lefevre, Anaïs Legros, Marc Lohner, Maxime Mantovani, Clara Midon et Aliha Thalien.
