Avec le vent, de Mehdi Shadizadeh

With this film, Mehdi Shadizadeh, born in Tehran in 1984, endeavours to bring together the many artistic facets of Abbas Kiarostami. Through the accounts of several of the filmmaker’s contemporaries, including filmmaker Kianoush Ayari, photographer Maryam Zandi and gallerist Lili Golestan, he realises the extent to which Kiarostami was at the same time a poet, photographer, graphic designer, artist and carpenter: a composite artist and a truly modern Renaissance man.
