One of the pioneers of net art in France, Claude Closky proposes a critical response to the media and speculative hype surrounding non-fungible tokens with his website NFT.
According to Closky, the NFT market is a regression in the way artworks are bought and sold, an issue that he addresses in this work through his mock sales platform. The NFTwebsite is a deliberately frustrating online shop offering works with no images or information except that they are already sold. In this work, touch navigation is available to the public.
