Multifunctional and transformable, children’s furniture breathed new life into the language of design throughout the 20th century and continues to do so to this day, embodying the ambitions, social shifts and technological advances of the period.

This exhibition was presented in 2024 at Centre Pompidou and has been enriched with pieces from the Design Museum Brussels collection (Sylvie Feron, Jules Wabbes, etc.), highlighting the vitality of Belgian design in resonance with key international narratives.
